My top picks
On a quiet Wednesday night I ventured out to the local theater to see this movie. With mild expectations (deepened by the median age of 62 of my fellow movie-goers) I was so glad I went. Me and the oldies had a ball. One should never underestimate Oliva Coleman. What a masterclass in restraint and fury. Based on a true story from a sleepy town in Southern England, this gem of a movie hits the mark.
Watch the trailer!I've been a fan of Kacey since her Pageant Material album (Late to the Party). And although I think she's talented, I think she shines when she pairs her song writing with easy-breezy tempos. Deeper Well delivers, addressing growing up and having relationship realizations like "But you got dark energy, somethin' I can't unsee, and I've got to take care of myself. I found a deeper well."
Click and play your mood awayTaste-testing bagels is a little lost on me*, but when I have good one I do take note. Bagel Table says that they serve New York style bagels that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Their bagels and cream cheeses (and coffee!) and so damn tasty. With a few locations they're my #1 bagel stop. *sorry Jason
Bagel Table is Massachusett's answer to NY bagelsI never know that the color chartreuse was name from the liquor, first produced by Carthusian Monks in 1737. Aged with 130 herbs, plants and flowers, this elixir was intended for medicinal use, but now we know it for consumption and an ingredient in cocktails such as the Last Word and Greenpoint.
You crazy monks!
